I was lucky enough to have the chance to visit Maison et Objet trade show in Paris today, as part of my internship.

Featuring eight halls full of textiles, homewares, ceramics, gifts,interiors etc . The scale of the place and stands is impressive and sometimes overwhelming.

But here are a few photos of products and installations that stood out to me:

This installation by Nendo was part of the trend section focusing around the theme of Words.

Nendo explores the multiple words for rain in Japanese and captures the varying stages of rain from sleet to drizzle in beautiful and elegant glass vessels.

Here are a collection of colourful and fun lanterns and lamps from the 'Ethnic chic' Hall.

Cactus on the bright yellow Monocle coffee stand.

These beautiful La lampe gras made by DCW. Objects create an incredible and dynamic environment. The pipe like forms seem to grow from the ceiling like vines and create an almost 50's office vibe.
