My last set of swimming screen prints went down an absolute treat last year. I had so much fun drawing and printing them so I was thrilled to find that people really seemed to connect with them.
This time I have a few more delights- I’ve got 6 new prints for you in different sizes from A5-A3. And yes, there are sighthounds involved!
3 of the prints continue with the theme of outdoor swimming, something that I am a big fan of. I’ve been for an outdoor swim every week throughout winter so far and let me tell you, it is COLD.
Chilly Dips is an A4 print inspired by the many people swimming in Beckenham Place Park Lake throughout winter. Most people I’ve seen (including myself) wear gloves and a bobble* hat, this makes such a difference in keeping warm ! (*bobble not necessary)
Float Away is a very tranquil print, printed with vibrant deep teal and an eye-catching pinky red. Inspired by a family holiday to the Cairngorms National Park and a visit to the Linn of Tummel, just outside of Pitlochry where there are the most incredible waterfalls and plunge pools.
The Waterfall is a slightly new style in this range. The figure stands at the edge of a plunge pool at the base of a waterfall which is based on Linhope Spout in Northumberland. A larger size at A3 that would look beautiful as part of larger wall display or by itself.
If you follow me on Instagram you probably know that I am obsessed with my greyhound Albert and subsequently all things sighthound. Therefore it would be wrong not to include a couple of long doggos and co in this new batch of prints. The three prints are Hounds of Love, Sweet Saluki and Sleepy Hound . Each printed is printed with two juicy colours to bring colour and joy into your home.
Thanks so much!
